Riot engineers bring deep knowledge of specific technical areas but also value the opportunity to work in a variety of broader domains. As a Software Engineer Intern, you’ll work with both new and current technology, creating innovative solutions to overcome high-volume obstacles and to deliver player value.

As a Software Engineer Intern - Native Applications/SDK's, you may:

  • Develop native applications for desktop, mobile, and console that support millions of players around the world
  • Develop SDKs and APIs that are used by internal game customers to power their games

Internship Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a college or university 
  • Returning for at least one more term following the internship
  • Available to work full-time hours for 10-12 weeks at the indicated office during the summer
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • Experience with C++ Or Javascript

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with native application development on Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, or consoles
  • Experience with C#, Python, Unity, or Unreal
  • Experience with React or other modern Javascript frameworks
  • Familiarity with software development best practices like unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, CI/CD

We will certainly be looking at your past studies and experience, but for this role, we also look for dedicated people with a personal relationship with games.
