About the role:

We are dedicated to delivering innovative products through early and continuous delivery of high quality software consumed by millions. We're a small team with a focus on individual responsibility and rapid development. We're looking for an intelligent and highly ambitious up-and-coming Software Engineer to join our team this summer, if this sounds like you , we want to talk to you!

What you'll do:

• Improve existing Spark-based real-time and offline applications in production
• Add tooling, monitoring, unit, and integration tests to ensure applications don’t break
• Develop Flink-based stream compute platform
• Assist in the deployment to testing, staging, and production environments
• Work with engineers, analysts, and data scientists to develop large-scale pipelines
• Perform periodic code reviews
• Experiment with new technologies, looking to innovate and improve wherever possible

What we're looking for:

• Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program pursuing a BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field with a graduation date no earlier than December 2021
• Prior internship experience and/or a relevant project list
• Programming experience in Java/Scala
• Experience with big data processing frameworks - Apache Spark/Flink/Kafka

• If you’ve previously worked in a data engineering internship at a tech company
