We're looking for an intelligent and highly ambitious up-and-coming Software Engineer to join our team this summer, if this sounds like you, we want to talk to you! 

What you'll do:

• Build out the backbone of Tinder, interacting with the tools that keep things running smoothly.
• Improve resiliency of our 300+ running microservices.
• Experiment with new technologies, looking to innovate and enhance wherever possible.
• Assist in deployment to testing, staging, and production environments.
• Perform periodic code reviews.

What we're looking for:

• Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program pursuing a BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field with a graduation date no earlier than December 2021
• Prior internship experience and/or a relevant project list.
• Curious about technology, self-motivated, and excited to learn.
• Basic understanding of programming best practices.
• Proficiency in 1 or more of the following languages: Python, Golang, Java, Bash.

Bonus points if:

• You’ve previously worked with containers or microservices.
• You’ve deployed infrastructure to a cloud provider (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, Azure).
