The Role
Job Summary & Responsibilities:
The Summer Post Production Intern (Full Time, hourly, temporary) will learn the day-to-day and overall workflow of Post Production. Essential duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Take notes during Post Production meetings and reviews of episodes
- Work with Post Production Coordinators and Managers on Assignments as needed
- Maintain and create schedules and spreadsheets
- Perform research on projects as needed
- File and organize current project documents and archive old ones
- Help Q/c review cuts and master versions of episodes
Supervisory Responsibility:
- This position will not include supervising one or more employees where applicable.
Education/Experience:
- 1-3 years previous experience in video/television post-production, or equivalent education and experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong command or project details, self-motivated and excellent multi-tasking skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Baseline understanding, interest, or experience in the automotive industry a plus
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to sit for prolonged period of time and view computer screen.
Equipment/Software Used:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in Google Calendar and Drive
- Experience with non-linear editing systems, especially Avid Media Composer a plus
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in an office environment that is well lit and ventilated
