What we are looking for...
AvantStay's Operations Intern will be working first hand with our operations department, they will give you a unique look into the quickly growing short term rental market. Our growing team is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and detail oriented intern. The Operations Intern will research, collect, review and manage research for a number of corporate marketing and communications opportunities. The ideal candidate would be someone who has an interest in real estate, data analysis, growth, strong excel skills, and a personality type that leads them to take initiative on projects. You will have unique access to upper management as the teams work closely to identify new markets and opportunities. If you want to have a creative role in building the future of group travel and love your work doing it, this internship is for you!
What you’ll do...
- Maintain and build on a variety of critical database systems.
- Foster new and existing vendor partnerships, negotiating rates and preferred partnerships
- Create and maintain new databases of information.
- Generate market reports and case studies.
- Work one on one with team leaders in new and ongoing projects.
- Support the operations team, in HQ, field or remote teams.
What you’ll bring...
- In college or recent college graduate
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Experience in a fast-paced business-to-business customer service environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet objectives within deadlines with outstanding follow-through, time management and planning skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer orientation and problem solving skills.
- Tech savvy is a plus
