Responsibilities:

We view the purpose of the Internship to be an experience that is mutually rewarding for both the Intern and SIE. It represents an altruistic contribution not only to the education community, to a younger generation of up and comers, but also the United States economy as it helps promote new coming talent into the professional workforce, creating jobs. The gain for SIE is clear - our department gets valuable assistance in various areas from administrative, organizational tasks, right up to highly creative, more challenging tasks. Intern tasks include physical and data asset organization, music editing and production support, database updating, and general administrative support. For the Intern, the purpose is clear - a rich and rewarding educational, real world professional experience that will assist in his or her career pursuits. Especially at production heavy times with a large product development workload, the Internship is especially valuable to both parties, as our department receives valuable assistance at a critical time, and the Intern receives more meaningful, real world experience, often entrusted with higher level duties by necessity.

Qualifications:

• File Tracking
• Music Editing and Integration into Game Support
• Game testing for music behavior, bug reporting
• General Music Production Support (such as recording sessions and session prep)
• Database Work
• General Department Administration and Organizational Support
