About the Role:

The Marketing Intern is responsible for executing key marketing projects across lead generation, content curation & creation, and sales collateral. They will drive effective communications with all customers and partners. They will also be copy editing and packaging other people’s content and helping with distribution of that content over social media and email. It is an ideal role for a creative, collaborative and analytical candidate who is excited to drive meaningful results for a growing company. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own email, social and content marketing execution from end-to-end to drive brand awareness and lead generation. Craft and execute multi-channel campaigns.
  • Grow distribution across all channels. Must be skilled in content creation supported by SEO/SEM optimization and PPC strategy.
  • Develop content plans and ensure that content reaches the right part of the sales funnel at the right time. Content must be SEO-rich to attract long tail searchers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop outbound marketing campaigns to generate leads. Grow marketing qualified leads
  • Leverage marketing automation and lead management to streamline, automate and measure all marketing tasks and workflows.
  • Help drive awareness of new content, company announcements, webinars and upcoming product releases.
  • Monitor metrics and analytics of campaigns to measure insights on consumer behavior to drive actionable next steps.
  • Stay current on marketing trends and practices, focusing on how changes can help improve and optimize campaigns towards our target KPIs.

Requirements:

  • 1st or 2nd year with strong academic standing
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Strong reporting capabilities with the ability to track campaign performance and associated spend down to the most granular details
  • Team player who shows passion in their work
  • Critical thinker who can work independently

Nice to Haves:

  • Familiarity with Hubspot, Marketo, or similar marketing automation tools
  • B2B SaaS demand generation experience, developing and executing campaigns with demonstrable track record of success supported by ROI measurement
  • Experience in the development of creative campaigns and execution of email marketing, social advertising, content syndication, SEM, and paid digital
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce
