Ring is looking for highly motivated interns willing to join our firmware engineering team.

Looking for all levels of interns from sophomore to senior and graduate. The exact task and assignment would be proportional and relevant to level of education achieved and field of study.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with firmware engineers to design and implement firmware for Ring products.
• Execute test plans and document results.
• Troubleshoot the system software.

Required Skills

• Solid grasp of software fundamentals.
• Experience in C / C++.
• Great documentation skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with embedded systems with pre-emptive, multitasking real-time operating systems.
• Knowledge of standard communication protocols (i.e. UART, I2C, TCP/IP).
• Experience reading schematics and data sheets.
• Experience using oscilloscopes.

Work Experience and Education:

• Minimum 1 yr college course complete in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or relatable field. Minimum 3yrs preferred.
