What we are looking for...
AvantStay's internship program will give you a unique look into the quickly growing short term rental market. Our growing team is looking for a hard-working, detail-oriented, driven Finance/Accounting Intern to assist with accounting and financial planning daily tasks and projects. As we grow the company in existing and into new markets, you will be exposed to key financial planning and reporting used to evaluate business performance. If you are a student in finance or accounting and have an interest in the real estate and/or hospitality industries, this is a great opportunity for you!
What you'll do...
- Research new markets
- Track project onboarding expenses
- Support underwriting for new assets
- Generate and analyze financial reports
- Conduct month over month expense analysis for current assets
- Assist with special projects and financial reporting
What you’ll bring...
- Students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Skilled in Excel and interested in data analysis
- Attention to detail and quick learner
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts
- Exceptional presentation, analytical, written, and oral communication skills
- Experience in a related position or internship within real estate and/or hospitality is a plus
- Paid or Unit Credit Opportunity
