About the Role 

As the Data Product Manager Intern you will get exposure to how data teams at Tinder work towards empowering data-informed decision making while helping our teams in building data-powered products. This product manager will join an experienced team of product leaders within the Data Team at Tinder. Reporting directly to the GPM of Data

What you'll do:

• Sit at the confluence of data and product teams to foster communication and collaboration 
• Build content to enable data teams to better connect with customers
• Work with data ecosystem (producers and consumers) to build relationships that are mutually beneficial
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to identify areas where we can leverage data and machine learning and how it can be applied intelligently within data product development at Tinder
• Facilitate data accessibility, to enable users across the business to make data-driven decisions.
• Gather requirements from early adopter customers and incorporate into roadmap

What we're looking for:

• A student currently enrolled in a full-time degree program pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree with a graduation date no earlier than December 2021
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment.
• Previous practical experience with data and software development
• You enjoy working within an agile environment
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• You bring enthusiasm for solving interesting problems
• You are a Self-starter, with a 'can-do' attitude in a dynamic environment
• You have a strong analytical mind-set and are at your best working with KPIs
• You have a data driven mindset
• Have a working knowledge of SQL or Spark

Bonus points if:

• You have data product management experience
