Creative Marketing Intern

Protecht’s industry leading live event technology and consumer-facing protection products help provide ticketing platforms and organizers with control over inventory, additional lines of revenue, fraud prevention tools, and fan engagement through enhancements like an improved checkout flow, bot detection (beta), and upgraded security.

Job Description:

As a Creative Marketing Intern at Protecht, you will work with an incredible team of Creative Marketers with skills ranging from Journalism, Social Media, Brands, Graphic Design and Video/Photo editing. In this role you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced Tech Start-up environment on multiple projects. You are organized, driven, and passionate about the live events industry. This role will require 20 hours in office per week, paid at $15/hour, beginning in June and ongoing after summer. You will gain real world, hands on experience in:

• A TON of creative initiatives ranging from graphic design, animation (motion graphics), content writing, video editing, photo editing, blog writing, etc.
• Creating social media content and strategies
• Various administrative functions within the creative team
• Serve as a backup to team members when needed

Qualifications:

• Junior or Senior at an accredited University majoring in Media, Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or Public Relations
• Excellent writing skills - preferred experience with writing press releases, media releases, news articles, etc.
• EXPERT powerpoint presentation skills - ability to make a presentation with sounds, animation, video content, etc.
• Strong experience with Adobe (Lightroom, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Premier)
• Experience in UI/UX design is highly preferred
• Extremely organized with excellent time management skills; able to meet deadlines
• Experience with Prezi is a huge plus
