Lemonlight launched in 2014 with a mission to make marketing videos accessible to small/midsize businesses in a market that catered to large brands. Since then, we’ve become one the largest branded content providers in the world! THE ROLE
Lemonlight is looking for a Content Marketing Intern to support our owned and earned marketing initiatives. This includes our blog, SEO, link building, weekly newsletters, original research, lead magnets, and press mentions. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Content Marketing Intern will be involved in every aspect of SEO and content creation, including topic research, SEO keyword research, on-page seo optimization, link building, writing, editing, and optimizing all content for lead generation. You’ll work directly with our Senior Content Strategist with support from the entire marketing team as you gain insight into the video production industry and improve as a copywriter and content strategist.

• Write content about marketing, video marketing, and/or video production on a daily basis across a variety of formats (blog articles, newsletters, downloadable checklists and resources, etc.)

• Optimize new and existing articles according to SEO best practices to increase organic traffic

• Manage and publish blog content to our website via WordPress 

• Proofread/copy edit all types of content as needed

• Research trending topics to assist with editorial planning and identify new article ideas

• Explore content data in Google Analytics, aHrefs, Google Search Console and others to dig deeper into our content results and opportunities

• Perform other duties as assigned

SKILLS YOU BRING

• Exceptional written communication, including writing samples you’re proud to share

• Ability to research a topic autonomously and share findings with others

• Basic knowledge (or significant interest) in SEO best practices as they apply to content 

• Interest in trending topics across the marketing and video production industries

• Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and comfort with content-related metrics and reporting

• Basic knowledge of WordPress to post articles to our website
