What we are looking for...

AvantStay is looking for a communications intern to help us manage our many threads of correspondence with guests from all over the world. We are a rapidly growing travel brand and hospitality startup that values excellent service, tech-enabled solutions, and building the future of group travel. We are looking for you, a passionate problem solver and communicator who is ready to apply your creativity. As AvantStay’s communications intern, you will help us to close the gap between response and resolution by working directly with our HQ and offshore teams.

What you’ll do...

• Work directly with our guests to provide assistance with their reservation and overall experience
• Ensure all communications stay organized and up to date (templates, listings, manuals)
• Follow up on pending guest matters and other team projects
• Assist in passing items down from shift to shift (discount requests, ID verification, processing payment).
• Assist in other Cx matters (lost and found, manager call-backs, maintenance tracking)
• Learn about the fast growing Short Term Rental industry

What you'll bring...

• Willingness to learn.
• Interested in hospitality, Real Estate, technology.
• Attention to detail and a quick learner.
• Exceptional presentation, analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Self starter with a sense of humor and the ability to thrive in a fast moving environment.
• Experience in a related position or internship within real estate and / or hospitality is a plus.
• Experience in customer service/call center is a plus.
