The Role

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

The Accounting & Finance Intern will support the overall Finance & Accounting group by providing analytical and business support to help improve processes and procedures. This role will be exposed to the operation of various businesses including SVOD, O&O, Events and Studio Production. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Assist with BI Subscriber data optimization
• Assist with the audit and enforcement of Company’s travel and entertainment (T&E) policy
• P&L line item deep dive analysis
• Improve SVOD revenue and cash report reconciliation
• Tableau deep dive on performing content weekly to go hand-in-hand with weekly display pacing to assess risk on pacing for earlier reporting periods of the month
• Consolidate and improve load sheets for forecast/budget
• Oracle/Elan GL account consolidation
• Enter invoices in Oracle
• Ad hoc analyses as needed

Supervisory Responsibility:

• This position will not include supervising one or more employees where applicable.

Education/Experience:

• 1 years previous experience in finance.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Understanding of financial reporting & basic accounting principles.
• Analytical skills
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skill.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to sit for prolonged period of time and view computer screen.

Equipment/Software Used:

• Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Work Environment:

• Work is performed in an office environment that is well lit and ventilated.
