Intern- Commercial Real Estate

We are currently looking for an Intern to work part time in our Los Angeles HQ office. This Intern will work closely with the commercial real estate team for RealtyMogul.com. Your impact will be immediate and critical to successfully scaling RealtyMogul.com as the leading real estate crowdfunding platform. At the end of the internship, you will learn the basics of evaluating commercial real estate opportunities and gain exposure to the rapidly emerging RE crowdfunding field.

What You'll Do:

• Assist in underwriting commercial debt and equity transactions for the major asset types including but not limited to multifamily, office, retail, and industrial
• You will assist in all aspects of underwriting including the initial pre-screen,financial modeling (including Argus), and diligence period
• You will assist in the preparation of deliverables to the senior executive team
• You will help assess risk through the analysis of various aspects of the transaction including research of the sponsor/borrower, physical property characteristics,business plan, tenants, market fundamentals, comparable properties, and deal structure
• Work with the senior management team on additional ad hoc projects as needed

Who You Are:

• You have or are in the process of securing a bachelor's degree with top academic and professional credentials
• You have a passion for real estate and take pride in your work•You are hard working and understand the value of “getting it done” with a whatever it takes positive attitude
• You have strong quantitative and technical/computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• You have excellent communication skills; a true self-starter capable of accomplishing complicated tasks with limited supervision
• You are proactive, comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment with a strong interest in the real estate private equity and real estate crowdfunding industry
