ZEFR is hiring! We are seeking a new Front-end Engineer to our growing applications team. This is an opportunity for problem-solving with an innovative team that is making magic every day by developing better, faster, more powerful, robust, and scalable tools for other internal teams and external clients.

As a great candidate for this position, you will be proficient in writing clean, maintainable modern front-end code in an open-source, fast-paced environment. You’ll have a deep understanding of Javascript, HTML and CSS and experienced with React/Redux, unit testing and page performance optimization. We look for engineers who think of the whole as they do their part; who take non-dogmatic approaches to development and use the tools at hand in creative ways.

Here's what you get to do:

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to develop applications for internal and external clients
• Establish and promote front-end best practices throughout the engineering organization
• Develop efficient and reusable frameworks and abstractions
• Guide and mentor junior engineers
• Create solid, well-tested front-end code
• Develop completely new products and tools that will be shared across the application development landscape at ZEFR

Here's what we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of total professional experience
• 5+ years front-end experience (Javascript, HTML, CSS)
• Experience with modern front-end tools and utilities (ES6, ESLint, Webpack, Babel, Sass, Node, etc)
• Experience investigating and improving JavaScript performance
• Demonstrated web stack knowledge and experience, including API design and microservices
• Experience with digital media, social media, and advertising tools such as Google AdWords is a big plus
• Thorough testing and code review standards/practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
