Job Description:
Do you enjoy going to events? Are you open to trying new experiences in your local area? Do you post your experiences on socials? If so, this will be a great experience for you. Hoopla is a new app that allows people to discover local experiences through short-form video, think tiktok meets eventbrite. To help fuel our growth as well as grow our community, we are seeking Experience Ambassadors to help attend events, represent us, and create content.
Responsibilities:
- Attend events posted on Hoopla (not all of them, just several of them per month)
- Identify events that would be a great fit for Hoopla and attend
- Take or create content at the events to post for the app and socials
- Become a product expert. Thoroughly understand our product and service to inform potential users, creators, and development opportunities
- Evangelize hoopla. Think outside of the box and help us find creative ways to spread the word around campus about Hoopla
- Collaborate with team on outreach and marketing strategy
Requirements:
- Social Media Savvy. Must be knowledgeable in social media platforms TikTok, IG, Meta - familiarity in how to posts, trends, popular creators. You should be familiar with current social media trends and tools
- Awesome attitude. We’re a small team, and we’re looking to learn from each other
- Outgoing, friendly personality, and a desire to meet new people to join our platform
- Excellent Problem-Solver. As an early stage start up, we don’t know what type of situations we may encounter, so collaboration and quick thinking will help in our success.
- Awesome communication skills.
- Must be able to travel to events
Job Type: Part-time (flexible hours)
Location: Remote with occasional In-person meet.
Compensation: Hourly
