Nativo is seeking an Events Marketing Specialist/Manager to join our Marketing team in El Segundo, CA. In this role, you will support the strategic planning, execution, and ROI analysis across tradeshow, regional & national sponsorships and custom Nativo proprietary events, ensuring that they are aligned with marketing and sales strategy. This role reports to our VP of Marketing.
What you’ll do:
- In this position, you will manage all elements of marketing event programs including budget development and reconciliation of each program including but not limited to, venue site selection, contract negotiation, promotional strategy, premiums conception, attendee rooming lists, client appreciation initiatives, staffing schedules and vendor management
- Be an expert on industry events and provide recommendations to the publisher business development team and ad-sales team on which events will help drive brand awareness and audience ROI
- Be an internal champion with the internal sales and operational teams to brief and prepare event attendees.
- Package collateral and presentations for thought leadership events
- Own and track event marketing budget to promote company product and services to the target audience with a strong focus on ROI.
- Post-event tracking and ROI analysis to help measure the company’s marketing initiatives and to improve future performance.
- Oversee the production of promotional items and event agendas, ushering the product through the appropriate teams and channels from ideation to completion.
- Spearhead internal events and trainings that align with company goals (ie Sales and Company Summits)
- Create copy, relevant materials and packages to support seasonal and vertical launches outlining Nativo products
- Work cross-functionally with sales, business development, design and marketing to meet project deadlines
- Provide on-site sales support for custom events and sponsorship activations

What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Studies or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of tradeshow and/or events management experience, marketing background also preferred
- Ability to work with cross functional teams and balance competing priorities, plan events with marketing goals in mind.
- Excellent project management/coordinating skills are essential as is the ability to define, conceptualize and execute a successful event.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented self-starter with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- General business and data acumen with familiarity of the AdTech space.
- Intermediate Excel skills to track and manage budgets and PowerPoint for presentation proofing and polish.
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) experience a plus.
- 20%-25% travel
