ONYX Design is seeking a multi-talented web developer with significant experience and understanding of Vue.js and web-app development.

We are a startup that provides web design, custom development, eCommerce, SEO and marketing services to a wide variety of clients. Our office is located in the fashion district of Downtown Los Angeles.

We are looking for candidates who are as passionate about web development as we are. We try to identify people with the "spark" of loving what they do so much that learning and growing their skills is a natural side effect of their ongoing curiosity and the challenges they overcome as they work.

More concretely, we are looking for developers who understand Vue.js and component-based application architecture at a deep level.  You will likely be doing much more than just coding with Vue, but that is the core role of this particular position. We are looking for fellow web-artisans to join our fast-growing but tightly-knit team.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Build, maintain, improve custom Vue.js web-applications and other projects.
• Collaborate closely with designers, developers, product managers at times, and work more independently sometimes as well.
• Have opportunities to learn new skills, frameworks based on your interests and curiosity.

Required Skills & Experience

You must meet the following qualifications to be considered for this position:

• Minimum 1-2 years of serious, professional experience with Vue.js, Vuex, and Vue Router
• Advanced experience with HTML5, CSS3, Sass, javascript, ES6 - know the DOM
• Demonstrable experience with web-app development & SPAs
• Proficiency with git & npm
• Everyone says this but we really mean it: You must be highly detail oriented, and be a proactive communicator
• You must be authorized to work in the US
• You must be a current resident of LA, or able to fully relocate within 2-3 weeks
