THE ROLE

We are looking for a brilliant, dedicated, and hardworking engineer to help us build high impact products alongside our Systems Integration Team. Our site sees millions of unique visitors every month, and our customer growth currently makes us one of the fastest growing e-commerce companies in Los Angeles. We need your amazing software engineering skills to help us execute our Systems Integration initiatives and turn them into products that will provide great value to our members. In this role, we are hoping to bring someone in who is equally excited about our mission, learning the tech behind the company, AND has the ability to use their skills to build a world-class systems integration architecture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and oversee the architecture of critical interfaces for our ERP (NetSuite), warehouse management system (HighJump), eCommerce platform (Magento) and our internal reporting tools (RedShift and Tableau)
• Develop and support tools to support and facilitate full integration of the our systems to ensure consistent and proper reporting across the organization
• Establish Master Data parameters and source of entry / source of truth
• Utilize the power of Kafka to stream data between systems in real-time
• Optimize and manage our in-house Python-based systems integration platform
• Build new features that optimize our inventory management system and supply chain processes

QUALIFICATIONS

• Computer science background or relevant work experience
• Proficiency programming in Python or other programming language 
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
• Experience with Kafka or other real-time streaming systems
• REST API development Experience is preferred 
• Experience with AWS is prefered (ec2, RedShift, EMR, s3) Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, fun personality and a strong sense of curiosity
