Systems Admin Engineer
As a Systems Admin Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining:
an active continuous integration environment
system configurations as code (infrastructure as code)
support pre-production and production applications at scale
The ideal SysAdmin Engineer has experience in running automated production, virtualized infrastructure. The position offers opportunities for building and maintaining a platform spanning across multiple regions around the globe and supporting multiple application development teams.
Responsibilities:
Implement common infrastructure for the company
Participate in second-tier, rotating, on-call schedule
Be on the front lines in pushing through rigorous testing and tracking key metrics
Interface with other teams to maintain best practices in security and automation
Drive to discover and implement the most effective options
Ideally, you:
Have experience running and maintaining automated production, virtualized infrastructure in OpenStack and/or XEN.
Have a clear understanding of information security concepts and best practices
Have working knowledge capable of troubleshooting networks: routing, subnets, ACLs, site-to-site tunnels
Have working knowledge of agile/scrum processes
Have interests in transitioning to DevOps role

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
2+ years experience of running and maintaining production infrastructure:
OpenStack (expert)
NetApp filer support and administration (expert)
XEN (expert)
Linux OS Admin (experienced: Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)
AD/LDAP (knowledge)
Preferred Qualifications:
OOP Programming (nice to have experience: Python, Java, etc.)
Config Management (Puppet, CFEngine, etc.)
