Responsibilities:

• Develop and own full spectrum of the Product Validation Lifecycle
• Design and manage internal tests and coordinate external tests with vendors
• Statistically analyze data to provide design risk assessments 
• Set-up test equipment and run hands-on tests
• Write test plans and report o n follow through
• Research new technologies to understand unique failure mechanisms 

Requirements:

• 7+ years of validation engineer experience
• Extensive Experience with MIL STD 810
• Ability to use failure analysis methodology to derive a root cause of failure
• Experience setting up test environments
• 7+ years of experience in environmental testing
• Confident with navigating ambiguity and creating new ways of doing things
• Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills
• Extreme attention to detail and curiosity of how technologies work
• Capable of handling multiple projects at once
• Dynamic engineer with a “can do” attitude with the aim to work in a top notch team and product
• Consumer electronics or portable defense product experience required
