 What We're Looking For:

Our Software Engineers are an integral part of a dynamic technology team, focused on building several multi-faceted sites and applications that serve HR leaders worldwide. You will be building platform components that serve different audiences and require different tool sets to meet the needs of the users. These include distribution and acquisition engines, social media integrations, and business intelligence functionality. Our team members need to possess versatility, problem-solving skills, and the ability to rapidly change direction in a fast paced environment. This position includes interaction with most parts of the business and requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

 Qualified candidates will have at least 4-5 years of expertise delivering enterprise level applications and on-the-job experience with consumer facing websites. You should have extensive experience in full-cycle application development processes, from requirements gathering to production. We expect that you will have a broad understanding of software architecture methodologies. We look for individuals who are self starters, capable of self direction, and highly motivated toward deliverables.

Qualifications for the Job

• 4-5 years experience developing high end, high traffic, and scalable multi-tiered web applications
• Expert level knowledge of Ruby on Rails and MySQL on Linux
• Front end frameworks including mobile
• Outstanding software architecture and design qualities
• Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Experience operating in a Scrum environment

Key Competencies

• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Strong communications skills
• Social Media API’s (Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, etc.)
• Linux system administration
