ringDNA is searching for a Sr. Quality Assurance Lead to work closely with development and program management teams to organize all aspects of the quality assurance process. This process will be used to help find, report, isolate, validate and resolve defects. You will be working in a collaborative environment with a focus on quality to ensure the delivery of high-quality distributed applications to our customers.

You will motivate the Team to consistently improve testing practices, tools, and process. You will share your vision across the entire engineering organization and remove any roadblocks on the team roadmap. This position reports to the Director of QA. 

 What You’ll Do

  • Leads QA in the full development lifecycle with a focus on the delivery of high-quality software developed using Agile methods.
  • Organize and lead all aspects of the quality assurance process with an enterprise customer-driven quality mindset.
  • Define the test standards and strategies to ensure the product under test meets customer, industry and company standards. 
  • Create test plans, define test phases, test requirements and ensures the test team meets deadlines. 
  • Use a continuous integration process to evaluate team performance throughout the life of the project and to make improvements as needed.
  • Plan, execute and maintain QA test tools used to test our back-end and front-end applications. 
  • Build-in test metrics to report on and monitor test coverage and test execution progress.
  • Works closely with other QA team members, developers, and application support teams to report, monitor and resolve issues to root cause.
  • On a daily and as-needed basis, communicates status and progress with upper management and other teams on the project. 
  • Post-release, implement the actions to fix and improve the existing QA test processes. 

Who You Are

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software testing or software development
  • Self-motivator, who can work independently, able to learn quickly, good time management skills, meets deadlines and demonstrates problem-solving skills.
  • Effectively communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner to upper management, executive teams, internal and offshore teams.
  • Demonstrate the ability to write QA test plans and test cases.
  • Knowledge of Unit test frameworks and methods such as Jest, Junit, Selenium, Jmeter, Postman
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java, Javascript, React, SQL
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases, Redis, MySQL
  • Familiar with the current development process to include Agile, test-driven development, continuous integration, continuous delivery.
  • Exposure to SaaS computing, Salesforce platform, telephony, cloud computing.
