POSITION: Software Engineer, Full Time, Exempt

LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA (on-site)

OPPORTUNITY:

We're looking for a talented engineer to join us in creation of the B2B/wholesale e-Commerce platform. You would get to learn (and to teach) a lot about building scalable cloud technology in a great startup environment. You would work closely with product and design teams, think about problems from the customer's perspective and propose solutions that take their needs into account, feel like a cohesive part of the platform, and give us the flexibility to grow in the future.

We have built an amazing team that is accomplishing a lot. We're in active development mode which means that every contributor is given the chance to work on large projects from architecture to implementation and to come up with unique solutions to problems on a daily basis.

We believe in an agile, iterative development and in using the best tools to solve a given problem. We build applications that are mission critical to our clients, and that have been used to process billions of dollars in orders in multiple currencies. Ultimately, we're creating something that has never been done before, and we want you to join us on the adventure.

EDUCATION: BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of development experience in back-end and front-end technologies. 

• Great programming and test driven development skills
• Good understanding of backend technologies (RESTful API design, message driven applications, efficient data manipulation, big data, caching, scaling, security, etc)
• Good understanding of front-end technologies (UX principles, HTML5, responsive and single page applications knowledge is a plus)
• Production experience with some of the technologies in our stack is a plus (Node.js, React.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, Docker, AWS)
