We believe in an omni-channel approach to e-commerce. We collaborate with teammates across the company in product, design, engineering, and operations. As a Software Engineer - Frontend, you contribute to Fair.com, the dealer app, internal tools, and web views within mobile apps. You report to an Engineering Manager in Santa Monica, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Build scalable and flexible web experiences that power the future of car ownership
• Collaborate with backend engineers, design and product to plan new features and improvements
• Provide accurate estimates on project complexity and delivery time

Required Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of software engineering experience
• Background developing modern interactive web experiences with React, HTML5, CSS3
• Experience defining API interfaces in JSON or GRPC
• Work with version control through GitHub
• Comfort in a design-centric environment informed by user experience research and a/b testing
• Bachelors related to computer science or equivalent work experience
