We are looking for a New Grad-Level Engineer with high potential to help implement new features in our mobile environment. As an entry-level contributor on a small team, you will learn and demonstrate the development practices and philosophies required to build and launch high quality Android apps. Someone who is excited about researching new methods or technologies that improve the architecture, user experience or engineering process.

As a member of the engineering team, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally with product design, marketplace ops, analytics and more to ensure a solid end-to-end strategy and execution.

In this role you will:

• Learn, adopt, and demonstrate GOAT’s development practices and philosophies
• Implement discrete changes and features, often within a single application or codebase
• Write code that is correct, readable, and consistent with existing patterns
• Ensure that your contributions are maintainable, stable, well-tested, and on-time
• Support in troubleshooting issues and bugs, particularly related to changes you have made
• Communicate clearly with other engineers and product managers
• Be a helpful and supportive presence on the team

We are looking for:

• BS degree in a relevant technical field preferred
• 1 years of internship experience developing in Kotlin or Java
• Internship experience with common mobile application patterns and frameworks
• Experience developing features in an agile, product-driven workflow -- QA, Analytics, Product, Frontend and Backend engineers 
• Familiar and comfortable with the technologies, the tradeoffs, and the design patterns emerging in mobile services
• A quick learner, a self-starter, able to work independently, and you're willing (and able) to handle the pressures of an increasing level of responsibility
