the Software Developer in Test role is expected to develop high quality code for database driven web interfaces, middle tier application layers, and dataflow components, in a project oriented environment. 

Job Expectations:

-Expect to spend at least 50% of your time doing design and coding. The role also requires you to be able to analyze and work with complex architectures. Our product's requirements include compatibility with both internal and external clients, so knowledge of existing and emerging client technologies would be very useful. We expect the ideal candidate to work both independently as well as in collaboration with others on our team as well as with the development staff.

-Develop unit test, integration test and execute them

-Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.

-Automate test plans for a significant component, set of features, mid-size application, or service.

-Able to work independently and with team to deliver test plans and test cases successfully.

-Participation in design and code inspections.

-API level testing.

-Ability to analyze automation frameworks suitable for projects

-Perform manual testing, the scope of which will encompass all functionalities of services as a prequel to automation.

-Analyze test logs; create test reports, co-ordinate with stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

-Strong knowledge of C# .NET and experience with Microsoft Visual Studio (or similar language and stacks like Java)

-Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server

-Experience designing, building, and supporting applications with n-tier architecture.

-A strong understanding of best practices within any .Net technology 

-Exposure to all aspects of the software development lifecycle

Experience Requirements:

-Generally requires a minimum of eight (5) years of experience with the Microsoft .NET platform, including C#, ASP.NET, WCF, and ADO.Net. (or equivalent stack) or five (3) to seven (4) years’ experience within iHerb. 

Education Requirements:

-Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
