As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will build seamless deployment and maintain our cloud-based infrastructure and services to help us scale and service availability and reliability. We have a globally distributed processing cloud, billions of events a day, terabytes of data; along with millions of network requests with frequent code deployments. In this role, you will:

• Build and scale the cloud-based infrastructure for a global user base of hundreds of millions.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and monitoring of the systems to ensure SLAs are met.
• Collaborate with various engineering teams on design and expansion of our infrastructure.

We’re looking for:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Systems knowledge within the Linux ecosystem.
• Strong scripting skills -- i.e., Bash, Perl, Ruby, Python, etc.
• Solid understanding of networking principles and TCP/IP
• Experience with kernel- and network-based tuning for performance and stability.
• Experience with Configuration Management technologies, such as Puppet, Chef, and/or Ansible.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and/or Docker.
• AWS experience, including but not limited to EC2, DynamoDB, RDS, and ElastiCache.
• Experience with CloudFormation and/or Terraform.
• Familiarity with Node.js/Go/Java - you don’t need to write it, we just need you to know how to read it.
