Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the production team to deliver project management solutions that integrate with multiple systems including task tracking software, scheduling systems, and calendars
• Develop, extend, and maintain internal, custom web apps for the product development team
• Write clear, maintainable, portable, and highly functional code
• Profile and performance tune code to remove bottlenecks
• Test and document code produced

Requirements

• Minimum three years of professional programming experience
• Expert-level experience with JavaScript web development
• Experience interfacing with REST APIs and processing JSON data
• Experience with backend frameworks or languages (e.g. Python, NodeJS, Flask, PHP, etc.)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent critical analysis and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently

Preferred

• Familiar with database administration (MySQL, SQL, mongodb, etc.)
• Ability to build functional user interfaces from scratch
• Familiarity with the game development project lifecycle
• Sc. degree in computer science or equivalent experience

Reporting location: Los Angeles, CA but candidate can work remotely with prior experience
