Specifically you will...

Focus on our LAMP stack, adding new features and assisting with deployments

Architect and implement solutions for our premium site (SaaS), dashboard applications

Mentor other engineers on best practices via pair programming sessions

Work with product and engineering teams during agile lifecycle to deliver both engineering and product feature sets

Advise on best practices and ensuring the highest quality of engineering solutions through code reviews

Software engineering best practices

PHP7 / PHP8

Relational (MySQL) and noSQL persistence layers

eCommerce principles

Magento CE and / or Zend Framework is preferred

Distributed caching using Redis or Memcached

Frontend technologies including CSS, SASS, HTML, Javascript

Search platform experience such as ElasticSearch

Familiarity with AWS or other major cloud environments

Git version control

JIRA for story tracking and project management
