Senior SDET - Android
Hello! AppOnboard is looking for a Senior Android Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Engineering team. The perfect candidate is a team player who's hungry to learn and grow their skill sets as well as pick up new ones on the fly. Must have at least 5 to 8 years of experience in an Android SDET role.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, responsiveness, and stability of our playable ad SDK for Android devices
- Collaborate with SDK engineers and SDETs to design tests and test plans for new and existing features
- Build, improve, and maintain tools and automation frameworks to implement tests
- Test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Create clear, concise trouble tickets with descriptions and details of issues encountered
- Work with and integrate with outside data sources, APIs, and our internal backend systems on AWS
- Coach and mentor SDETs and QA testers in the execution of testing efforts
- Continuously research, evaluate, test, and implement new technologies to optimize efficiencies
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in an Android SDET role
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Broad experience with various types of tests including unit, system, integration, user acceptance, regression, usability and end-to-end testing
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, different versions of Android OS, device fragmentation, firmware differences, and different open source test tools and frameworks
- Good coding skills
- General experience working with remote data via REST/JSON and AWS
- Proficient in Jira and Git
- Strong attention to detail, great problem-solving skills, good communication skills
