The Role:

Quality assurance engineers at SnackNation help us succeed to by enabling the team to focus on delivering high quality features and software. You’ll work closely with our Systems, Engineering, and Product teams to define thorough test plans that inform our development process and allow you to provide consistent, repeatable test results in a timely fashion. You’ll provide thought leadership around quality and testing and develop an overall QA strategy for the Technology team, including scaling up our testing capabilities through trusted vendors.

You Will:

• Create and execute test strategies for a variety of systems and codebases that power every part of our business
• Ensure quality for internal tools and member-facing products using manual and automated testing techniques
• Guide the shape of quality assurance within SnackNation, strategically building and leading a team comprised of internal and external testing professionals
• Help evolve and nurture our technology culture, embracing and encouraging high standards throughout the team
• Partner with our Product team to collaborate closely with stakeholders from every team to deeply understand the problems we’re solving

You're A Good Fit If You:

• Have a minimum of 5 years of web application and API testing
• Can demonstrate mastery of end to end test automation using tools such as Selenium
• Have a thorough understanding of the web, including common protocols and data formats (e.g. HTTP, JSON) and common API patterns (e.g. REST)
• Pride yourself on your excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills 
• Are organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently to take projects to completion while also thriving in and helping to drive a deeply collaborative culture to ensure we leverage the talents of the team to build the best possible solutions
• Have experience working with e-commerce and subscription models
• Seek perpetual growth

Projects You Will Work On:

• Platforms to help ensure our B2B members and home consumers receive the perfect snacks at exactly the right time
• Our platform for gathering, analyzing, and visualizing feedback on hundreds of snacks, powering our class-leading dataset of product feedback for hundreds of snacks
• Internal tools to enable our teams to work efficiently and effectively, allowing the company to continue to scale
• Improvements in third-party systems such as Salesforce and Zuora to empower our Sales, Customer Success, and Brand Partnership teams
