In this role you will:

• Partner with the engineering team to understand project objectives, gather automation requirements, design automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable test automation solutions.
• Apply QA principles to develop Android test cases and detailed test scenarios and oversee their execution, tracking, and automation.
• Verify quality acceptance of the Android application across multi-platform environments.
• Work with feature testers to come up with automated test plans, and get an understanding of what tests could be created to ease our manual test efforts.
• Assist in on-going process improvement efforts to ensure test planning, execution and reporting is effective and efficient.
• Go beyond traditional QA and help deliver product launches via a streamlined, agile process.

What we are looking for:

• 4+ years of testing experience.
• Experience in testing mobile applications.
• Experience in architecting, developing, planning and building testing framework.
• Working knowledge of building and maintaining test suite pipelines in a CI/CD environment using CircleCI.
• Ability to write, maintain and verify test cases.
• Proficient writing in Java/Kotlin.
• Experience with Espresso.
• Experience with a variety of test tools and software testing practices, including developing, implementing, maintaining and managing manual/automated testing systems and environments.
• A quick learner, a self-starter, able to work independently, and willing (and able) to handle the pressures of an increasing level of responsibility.
