Job objective: This is an exciting role in a growing company. The ideal candidate for the position is someone who has experience designing, building, and testing the physical structure for phased array products and packaging RF assemblies. We are particularly interested in mechanical engineers that have experience in designing systems and testing systems to pass qualification testing (environmental - rain/moisture, shock, and vibration). The ideal candidate will have designed and taken a system through successful tests of various levels of shock, vibe, and environmental test.

 

Duties:
  • Build a physical structure to mount an array of RF elements
  • Ruggedization of components to survive shock, vibe, and environmental
  • Simulate large structural components and vehicle based systems
  • Design packaging solution for RF power amplifier modules
  • Create CAD models of phased array structure
  • Select and manage vendors to product specific components and assemble modules

 Required Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience or minimum experience includes at least 2 full product life cycle
  • Previous experience with RF system or component mechanical design
  • US Citizen (future security clearance may be required)

 Desired Qualifications: 

  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Collaborative; capable of working across all levels of the organization
  • Organized; comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Location

Our company is located in Torrance, just off of the 405. We moved into our new 100,000+ square foot facility in November 2021 and love calling it home.
