Ring is looking for a Lead iOS Engineer. This person will design and develop mobile apps for next generation connected consumer electronic devices, and support new & existing products & software.

5+ years of experience

• Designing and developing on the iOS SDK, including Objective-C, Swift, Xcode, cocoapods, shipping products to the Apple App Store

5+ years of experience with

• Web architectures and services (HTTP, REST, SOAP, etc.)
• Persisting data (Core Data, User Defaults)

1-3 years of experience with

• AVFoundation
• Video streaming, codecs, MPEG, H.264, 4K, and other video formats, computer vision, TCP/IP and Networking protocols, SIP experience is a big bonus
• iOS UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Different versions of iOS and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Familiar with push notifications (APNS)

Nice to have

• Experience working with other mobile platforms such as Android or Windows
