  • Design, develop, improve, and implement project processes focused on improving supplier performance
  • Design and analyze project value streams
  • Develop models, databases, and spreadsheet to analyze project data
  • Develop and analyze project teams and management metrics
  • Optimize projects by utilizing advanced engineering method such as mathematical models, simulations, and statistics

10% - 25% travel (domestic) may be required for this position.This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
  • 7+ years experience in an engineering role
  • 5+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience with Lean Manufacturing, problem solving and process improvement
  • 3+ years of project leadership experience, leading cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with Supply Chain Management
  • 5+ years of experience with engineering processes
  • Advanced knowledge of mathematics and the financial acumen to conduct business case analysis (e.g., cost benefit analysis, trade studies, benchmarking, design to cost, economic analysis, risk analysis, bid proposals).
  • Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test, software, technology, avionics). Knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business).

Typical Education/Experience: Typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
