Klickly is fast-growing startup located in Santa Monica, recently named one of BuiltInLA's "Top 50 Companies to Watch in Los Angeles" as well as being named “Best Leadership” and “Best CEO” by Comparably. Our proprietary tech is the first of its kind, allowing in-ad purchases in programmatic and social advertising (think: web-wide recommendation engine or eCommerce DSP).
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer (ideally a javascript expert) who has led 2-3 startup tech teams. Someone who will jump right into hands-on development to generate solutions. Candidate will take on pivotal leadership role in Engineering team and will work closely with Product team to maintain and improve Klickly's code base, build new user-facing products and client-facing BI dashboards, optimizing placement and selection of products via our recommendation engine, and adding oversight to performance and machine learning goals.
Comp package: based on experience but expect salary plus meaningful equity upside reflective of senior lead roles.
Must have –– expertise in Klickly's core technologies:
- Front-end - react, mobX, webpack, docker, TypeScript, sass
- Back-end - node, express, mongoose
- Admin - CI/CD, AWS (includes ec2, elastic beanstalk, lambda, s3, dynamodb, elasticache, redshift, route 53, codepipeline, elasticsearch)
- Database - redis, mongo, SQL, postgres
Nice to have –– expertise in Klickly’s core industries:
- eCommerce
- Advertising (programmatic/RTB, attribution, re-targeting/pixels)
- Big data (machine learning and recommendation engines)
- Payments (PCI compliance, security)
- Marketing (email, social, affiliate, etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Take on a true leadership role within the existing technical team. (Role has room for growth within organization.)
- Coordinate team in continued build of full stack Javascript code base - nodejs, express, react as well as common js web dev tooling
- Develop technical solutions as pertinent to data use and management
