How you will contribute:

  • Architect, build, maintain, document, and automate technical processes and operations in alignment with AWS best practices
  • Maintain systems and processes related to the CI/CD pipeline
  • Provide expertise related to AWS services as well as operational and delivery processes to the engineering team
  • Monitor, analyze and report performance statistics for cloud hosted environments
  • Work throughout the software development life cycle to ensure applications are scalable, available, efficient and performant

Skills you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience with building, deploying, administration and monitoring of SaaS applications and related infrastructure
  • 5+ years of experience with Linux operating systems and systems administration
  • Demonstrable experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation
  • Understanding of high availability and scaling solutions like caching, CDNs, load balancing
  • Demonstrable development and scripting experience with languages like Python, Go, bash
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Chef
  • Experience with build systems such as Jenkins, Bamboo
  • Experience with source control systems such as Git, GitHub, Bitbucket
  • Hands on experience with monitoring and APM tools such as DataDog, SignalFX, Prometheus, New Relic, AppDynamics, Icinga
  • Experience with log aggregation tools such as ELK stack, Splunk, SumoLogic
  • Experience with container technologies (e.g. Docker, ECS, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of both RDBMS and NoSQL database solutions like MySQL, MSSQL, Casandra, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, etc. from an Operations perspective
  • Experience with system hardening and implementing security controls is a plus

Help build and deploy automation tools as well as scale our infrastructure in AWS. You should prepare to have an immediate impact on the organization from day one. You’ll take this far beyond your first 90 days. Expect to constantly be learning, challenging yourself and strategizing with your team on defining solutions within our infrastructure.
