We're looking for a highly motivated Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer with experience automating and designing high-availability, secure infrastructure. We have a stateless containerized application architecture built on Kubernetes and AWS. In this role, you will be a close collaborator with our application engineers and a part of the software-development lifecycle. Our ideal candidate is willing to cross layer boundaries and dive deep to resolve production issues (from logs to kernel syscalls). We're a hard working, energetic team that is passionate about our customers and believes that to be successful we should never stop learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives for automating and scaling our systems
• Improving security, reliability, and performance
• Administer, monitor, and deploy cloud-based systems
• Collaborating with application engineers to design robust systems
• Taking ownership of infrastructure projects

Requirements

• 5-10 Years of related experience
• 3+ Years of DevOps specific experience
• Cloud IaaS Experience (AWS or Azure is preferred)
• Experience with scripting in at least one language (Python or JavaScript preferred)
• Strong familiarity with Linux
• Understanding of monitoring, networking, security (strong in 1 or more areas)

Preferred

• Kubernetes / Docker
• AWS: EC2, ELB, Route53, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC
• Managing high-availability, multi-AZ environments
• Software Development experience
• Logging/Monitoring tools (SysDig, LogDNA, Rollbar, etc.)
• Worked with distributed systems or micro-service architectures
