Our mission at GOAT is to create a trusted platform for buying and selling sneakers safely. We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our small DevOps team. In this role you will help develop our cloud-based infrastructure and services that support GOAT's engineering teams to scale their applications that serve millions of users worldwide. We’re looking for an engineer that is very product driven and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

You will:

• Build out our AWS ECS infrastructure from scratch
• Provision, plan, and maintain technical architecture to scale for the growing traffic needs of the company (we receive millions of page views a day)
• Secure GOAT's technical architecture from information security threats
• Support developers and product development by establishing and maintaining a development pipeline
• Have an essential role in developing and maintaining the CI/CD pipelines.
• Be on call for technical operations and support the stability of the system in the event of an outage
• Troubleshoot system, network, and application level issues

You have:

• Education: BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred
• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience with a focus on infrastructure and cloud architecture
• Extensive experience managing complex technical architecture deployed to Amazon Web Services
• Strong professional experience with AWS ECS (Lambda and Docker)
• Strong scripting skills, i.e. Python, Go, Ruby
• Experience with Postgres (Redis, Memcache, and Elasticsearch are a plus)
• Experience with Docker containers along with Kubernetes
• Experience with deployment and maintenance of Postgres, Redis, Memcache, and ElasticSearch are a plus
• Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of continuous delivery tools (we use CircleCI)
• Experience evaluating and using open source solutions that fit business needs
