We're looking for a talented engineer who is passionate about building high performance, scalable, mission critical, and secure systems in the cloud. You will drive the evolution of major parts of our growing platform, and will be joining our amazing, friendly, and diverse team, learning and helping others to learn something new every day. You will work on a cloud based SaaS platform that is processing massive amounts of information and is designed to scale. Engineers at NuORDER work closely with the product and design team, and think about problems from our customer's perspective to devise the best solutions.
LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA (Westwood) (on-site)

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.EXPERIENCE: 

• 5+ years of software development in Node.js, Go or Java, strong computer science fundamentals.
• Good understanding of backend technologies and architecture (RESTful API design, message driven applications, SOA, micro-services, relational and non-relational databases, big data, caching, scaling, security, etc)
• Test driven development, experience with large projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, team player, enjoy learning and teaching.
