WeeCare is looking for a bright, energetic, experienced Android developer who wants to make a significant impact on the childcare industry. As a Senior Android developer, you will work directly with the engineering and product teams to:

• Take ownership of our Android app by building new features and being an advocate for its continued success.
• Architect codebases & push for coding best practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and designers in order to address real challenges in the childcare industry.
• Lead the development efforts for our user facing Android app.

You'll excel at this role if you:

• Have 4+ years of experience building and architecting leading-edge Android applications
• Have shipped at least one Android app on the Play Store
• Have experience with Kotlin
• Have familiarity with software architectures and frameworks such as MVP or MVVM
• Have experience with key Android libraries such as RxJava, Dagger, and Retrofit
• Have experience working with RESTful APIs
• Have experience working with cameras, video playback, push notifications and web sockets
• Have an eye for beautiful user experiences in the context of Android design
• Enjoy knowledge sharing with team members
• Have experience with automated testing frameworks in a CI environment (e.g. Jenkins and Robolectric)
• Are detail oriented and self-driven

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Computer Science
• Experience working in an agile environment
