Our ideal candidate should have strong experience in building and continuous development of test automation framework, with demonstrated history of working with e-commerce companies. This candidate should be highly motivated and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll work closely with both developers and your fellow QA team members in the quest for a bug-free world and a fully automated Regression testing suite.

 

What you’ll do:

 

• Design, develop and maintain test automation frameworks, test suites and tools to meet business needs with respect to regression, functionality, performance, scalability and other quality goals.
• Work with various stakeholders to ensure standard QA/QE processes are implemented and followed.
• Automate existing manual regression, functional and load testing cases into test automation framework.
• Evolve automated test framework to achieve higher test throughput, increased accessibility and test execution flexibility.
• Analyze existing systems to find areas for improvement.
• Conduct diagnostic analysis and troubleshooting to resolve complex software issues.
• Close collaboration with the development and functional QA organizations to ensure that automation activities provide the highest benefits.
• Participate in scrum and sprint development cycles.

 

Qualifications:

 

• BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer with strong automation experience
• At least 3 years of experience with testing web/ecommerce applications constructed using JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, CSS, HTML and related technologies
• Automation Experience is a MUST - creating web automation test suites using tools like Selenium WebDriver, Watir, QTP
• 5+ years of programming/scripting experience (Java/Python/PHP/C#, etc.)
• Proficient with SQL for adding, modifying and extracting data from a RDBMS database
• Experience with version control tools (TFS, GIT or SVN)
• Must have experience with TestNg/Junit, Maven/Ant
• Experience with testing and automating REST Based and SOAP APIs using tools such as – RestEasy, SOAPUI
• Experience with ticket tracking tools such as TFS, VersionOne
• Work concurrently on several projects, each with specific instructions that may differ from project to project
• Experience with training and mentoring team members
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• A passion & aptitude for technology

 

Preferred skills

 

• Experience with agile and waterfall development methodologies
• Experience with web application analysis tools such as Fiddler, Chrome Dev Tools
• Experience with Performance testing tools such as Jmeter, Gatling
• Experience with setting up and running test jobs from TFS/Jenkins is a plus
