OpenX, a leading provider of digital and mobile advertising technology, is looking for a talented Senior Release Engineer to join our Release Engineering team, responsible for the operability and support of the OpenX software development life cycle. Your contributions will have a significant impact on both the team and the organization.

In this position, you will streamline our internal build and release processes, maintaining and improving existing infrastructure, and creating visibility and metrics around the mapping between internal release engineering processes and business goals. Required skills, experience, and other criteria:

• Demonstrable, extensive experience as a release engineer
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently while tackling complex problems
• Experience with CI, configuration management, and artifact management systems
• Expert-level knowledge of Git
• Advanced proficiency in Bash, and knowledge of at least one other programming language

Preferred skills:

• Advanced working knowledge of Docker, Jenkins, Jira
• Intermediate skills with Salt, Kubernetes
• Exposure with GCR, EC2 or similar
• Experience working in a true Scrum environment
