Responsibilities
About the Role As a QA Analyst on our TikTok US content safety team, you will assess the quality of reviews performed by moderators and check their compliance to policy, process, and contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment with the ability to prioritize multiple functions, tasks and manage time efficiently. You are skilled at reporting, data analysis and communicating findings back to leadership in a timely manner, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of quality metrics. Key Responsibilities - Perform complex data analysis into problematic error trends, document and report findings to leadership - Maintain expert understanding of TikTok’s policies, procedures, app features, and internal documents - Perform weekly quality audits across multiple workflows of videos, comments and audio - Participate in weekly calibration sessions with vendor partners to ensure consistent alignment on policy and process - Provide and track daily and weekly quality metrics - Work on AdHoc projects as requested by leadership Minimum Qualifications - 2+ years experience in Trust & Safety, moderator, policy enforcement, or brand/user safety roles - Strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to perform deep-dive data analysis, create reports and maintain documentation - Creative, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to handle pressure to meet deadlines - Experience applying policy with sound judgment to online content - Able to work with minimal supervision, taking ownership of work and completing tasks in timely manner, while adapting rapidly to changing work environments, priorities and organizational needs - Ability to identify gaps in existing processes/policies/procedures and efficiency gain through enhanced processes, policies and procedures - Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) Google Suite, (Sheets, Docs, Slides) - Some travel between our Los Angeles and Mountain View offices
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years experience in a quality assurance role - Advanced proficiency in data analysis, quality reporting and process documentation - Experience working with international teams across different time zones - Understanding of the broader landscape and new policy developments in new media, tech, and the entertainment industry - Proven experience successfully manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large and disconnected data sets. - Experience working in a start-up, or forming new teams in established companies - Experience providing a 24/7 support for the internal stakeholders and global team(s) - Advanced proficiency in Excel and understanding of data access tools, including but not limited to SQL
