About the opportunity

In this role, you’ll organize strategic initiatives and requirements for the software platform that powers Epirus’s Counter-Drone suite of products. You’ll be responsible for building a clear, detailed, and prioritized backlog of capabilities for our software engineering teams to develop. The software roadmap you’ll contribute to adds tremendous value to our HPM products by delivering machine intelligence capable of mitigating swarms of drone threats in dynamic environments. You’ll help identify the right combination of precision sensor integrations, software autonomy, AI capabilities, 3rd-party partnerships, and other software features that together will form the most effective counter-drone technology ever developed. Your ability to build relationships by influencing and building trust with others will be key to your success as you rally stakeholders around a truly impactful product.

What you’ll bring to the table

• 3+ years Agile/Scrum experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Product Engineer, or Scrum Master

• 3+ years Hands-on experience managing all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (requirements, design, development, test, etc.)

• Technical background w/high-level knowledge of software development, UI design, and system design

• Proven project management experience with successful execution of impactful initiatives within fast-paced development schedules

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• B.S. in Computer Science or other relevant area of study

What makes you an exceptional candidate

• Prior start-up experience or Aerospace & Defense industry experience

• Graduate degree in Computer Science or Business (M.B.A.)

• Ability to aid in system and product architecture for technical projects

• Experience leading software projects involving real-time systems, 3-D graphics, or geospatial reasoning
