POSITION: Network Quality Assurance Engineer

JOB LOCATION(S):10960 Wilshire Blvd, 23rd Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90024

HOURS:Full time, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

SALARY:$105,665 - $110,000 per year

 REQUIREMENTS:

•  Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, or a related field, or Foreign equivalent*.
• Two (2) years of experience in job offered, or as a RF Engineer, UMTS RFE Engineer, or in a related occupation
• Require experience/skills/knowledge with Actix Analyzer, TEMS, Distributed Antenna System (DAS), MapInfo, KPI reporting, Log data processing, drive test data analysis and RFDS generation.
• A foreign degree adjudged as a similar US degree by an authorized US credential evaluator.

DUTIES:

Schedule and deliver DAS Benchmarking reports venues for requested carriers for designing a

DAS network for deployment. Perform regression testing on existing DAS venues for continuous improvement and update to maintain top quality network. Develop test procedures for testing Wired/Wireless Internet, Video Services and Cellular Services. Create test plans and perform tests as per service compliance standards. Set up and run 5G trails, analyze impact of LAA addition into Licensed carrier deployment onto Boingo WLAN solutions. Work on deploying LTE probes at strategic locations inside high density venues to gather feedback on cellular KPIs which can be extrapolated to gauge the overall cellular performance at the venue. Perform site survey at Airports to validate network infrastructure coverage and to gain insight into potential conflicting networks that inhibit the effectiveness of WLAN network to support Wi-Fi. Conduct VoLTE calls on CBRS network using VoLTE software and generate MOS KPI and handoff reports, perform CBRS LTE data roaming with Boingo carrier business partners, evaluate new testing tools to achieve RF KPI data collection for CBRS.
