While it is not necessary to have CS background, you should have solid e-commerce industry knowledge, should know about bug mgmt, general SDLC knowledge, white box, regression, smokes, etc.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Manual “Black Box” and “Gray Box” testing, research, and bug reporting

Maintaining and executing Test Plans/Test Scripts

Drafting status reports, attending meetings, and communicating progress to QA Leadership and Production

Qualifications

• Must be available to work full-time, remote-OK
• Minimum 1 year Quality Assurance testing experience
• Minimum 1 year eCommerce experience
• Familiarity with standard software development methodologies
• Strong ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Basic IT skills (PC Networking, Hardware/Software Troubleshooting)
• Familiarity with version control (Perforce, SVN, Git, or equivalent) and continuous integration (Jenkins or equivalent), a plus
• Test automation experience (Selenium, Blueprint, or equivalent), a plus
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of scripting languages (Ruby, Python, or equivalent), SQL, and/or C++, a plus
• Must have excellent presentation skills and communication skills (written, oral, internal, and client-facing)
• Must be team-oriented and self-motivating
