That’s where you come in.  We’re seeking a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer to help us optimize our offerings for improved performance and development.

Who YOU are:

• 10-15 years of experience in designing and building LARGE SCALE Web/SASS applications
• At least 7 years of experience with PHP
• At least 5 years of experience with Mysql and other relational databases
• At least 5 years of experience programming in HTML, Javascript, CSS
• Prior experience with NodeJS (TypeScript is a plus)
• Experience with PHP MVC frameworks such as Symfony, Zend, and Laravel
• Experience with frontend Javascript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue.js
• Extensive object-oriented programming (OOP) experience
• Experience with unit/functional testing
• Prior experience leading teams of 3 or more engineers
• Experience working in an agile environment
• A working knowledge of additional languages, such as Go, C/C++, Perl, and more (optional)

What YOU will do:

• Head up and train a growing engineering staff
• Oversee various projects with competing deadlines
• Develop, write, and review software requirements, design specifications, and test plans
• Design and implement software architectures for complex applications
• Design, develop, and maintain new features for various Web applications
• Deliver products in a timely and predictable manner, while working to achieve high quality and sustained reliability
• Drive rigorous product releases across multiple, complex software products
• Work with the Head of Production to ensure product delivery provides measurable value for customers
• Track down, isolate, and fix system bugs in a timely manner

YOUR most important business skills:

• Ability to effectively communicate with your team as well as with other departments
• Ability to prioritize business needs and adapt to change quickly

YOUR most important management skills:

• 3-5 years experience in managing and growing a team of 3 or more engineers
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from ideation to execution
• Ideally have built and/or managed an offshore team of engineers (optional)
